Dr. Master Matlhaope, Secretary General of the Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA), was invited by Daystar University's leadership to speak at the university's Vice Chancellor's Breakfast with church leaders in Nairobi on 26 August 2026. Held under the theme "Re-Engineering the Leadership DNA of the Church in Africa," the gathering brought together denominational, para-church and humanitarian leaders to discuss leadership in the African Church.
Leading a devotion from Acts 13:16–22, Dr. Matlhaope traced Israel's leadership succession from Egypt through the judges to David, urging clergy to internalize three truths: that leadership originates from God, that it is global in scope, and that it is timeless.
