The Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA) will host the Africa Digital Technology & Faith Forum 2026 on 21–22 September at AEA Plaza in Nairobi, convened under the theme "Leveraging Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence for Africa's Future." The gathering, held in partnership with immediate former AEA President Dr. Goodwill Shana, will bring together roughly 60 delegates — business leaders, technology innovators, academics, faith leaders and emerging young leaders — to explore how digital innovation and Christian faith can shape the continent's future.

AEA Secretary General Dr. Master O. Matlhaope said Africa stands at a critical moment, blessed with the world's youngest and fastest-growing population even as artificial intelligence rapidly reshapes economies and institutions. He called on African leaders to embrace technology for entrepreneurship and job creation while ensuring innovation is guided by ethical principles that promote human flourishing and the common good.
